With so many Hosting companies to choose from, it’s hard to pick which one is the best, for you. There are many things to consider when choosing a web hosting company for your Turnkey Website. Most hosting companies allow you to “Grow” your hosting, with your business. Meaning you can start small, with a cheaper plan, then as your need for more storage and bandwidth grow, you can increase your plan accordingly.
Along with Price, most people’s second deciding factor is what they are getting for their money, SERVICES!
2.) Services: Hosting plans tend to offer similar services from their basic plans, up to their more expensive plans. These are things such as what kind of control panel you use to access the back-end of your site (Cpanel, Plesk, Webmin, etc..) and some come with WYSIWYG Website Builders that are completely drag and drop and even the most novice can build stunning websites. If your wanting to install a Turnkey Blog, then you’ll be interested in One Click installs that make setting up the database and infrastructure of WordPress a breeze. With the back-end admin site, you can do things such as setup your email accounts, setup FTP accounts, install programs such as WordPress, e-commerce software, forum software etc.
After Services one of the most important things in my opinion is CUSTOMER SERVICE!
3.) Customer Service: Customer service is what I base 99% of my hosting choice on. There may be a cheaper host, there may be a host with more services, but when something breaks or you can’t figure out how to do something, your choice of a Host with great customer service will far outweigh anything. For example, your working on your website and you accidentally clicked on something you didn’t mean to and now your whole website is down… Do you want to fill out a technical support ticket, then wait a day, maybe two days to get a response back? Nothing looks worse than when someone try’s to go to your website and it’s down. 75% of people will not try to go back, now you’ve just lost out on a potential sale or subscriber. If your like me, you’d much prefer picking up your telephone 24/7, calling a number and having help INSTANTLY! Or you don’t want to call? 24/7 Live Chat support is another big thing to look for, sometimes it’s a lot easier to chat with someone than it is to call in.
So now we’ve looked at the big 3 things that you should look for when choosing a web Hosting Company, I feel confident you will be able to find a web host that will meet your needs.
